After undergoing rehab in
the off-season for a medial knee injury, Peter Wright played 17 out of a
possible 22 games in season 2019. Extending his stay with the Club until the
end of season 2022, Wright Featured in the first 15 games of the season before
a drop in performance saw him sent back to the NEAFL to build on his form.
He’ll face some competition for a spot in the forward line for season 2020,
with the emergence of Ben King in 2019 and the addition of former Geelong
Ruck/Forward, Zac Smith. Wright’s sheer talent and contested-marking ability
should see him play plenty of games this season if he can remain injury free.
