Evergreen defender Jarrod
Harbrow enjoyed another successful season in 2019, finishing fourth in the
club’s Best & Fairest. His dedication to mentoring Indigenous youth off the
field was also recognised with the SUNS’ Community Award. Harbrow is
highly-respected within the club, becoming the first to reach 150 games for the
SUNS and the first player to be inducted as a life member of the Gold Coast
Football Club in 2018. The veteran missed just one game in 2019 and averaged 19
disposals, five marks and two tackles per game. His tackling pressure and
trademark run and carry was an asset to the team last season and will continue
to be an important part of Stuart Dew’s game plan this season.
