Coolangatta-Tweed product Corey Joyce is small defender who is a very skilful player, often using both feet when delivering the ball. Joyce played all five games in the NAB League in 2019 for the SUNS Academy. He played a valuable role in the team’s defence and was rewarded with inclusion into the 50-player Allies squad which was a great experience for him. Joyce has spent the majority of the pre-season with the SUNS senior team. Look for him to spend a lot of time in defensive 50 and using his nimble ability to weave his way out of the back half with plenty of run.
