Jack Bowes played 15 games
in 2019 in what was a big year of development. Bowes played the majority of the
season as an inside midfielder, averaging 18.4 disposals, 3.5 marks and 3.7
tackles per game. He suffered a quad injury in Round 11 which saw him miss two
months of football, but returned to finish the year strongly. The Cairns
product and SUNS Academy graduate is now entering his fourth AFL season and is
set to be a regular midfielder again in 2020.
